Job Description Summary

The Senior Town Planner is also expected to implement and be involved in ongoing quality control processes and process improvement initiatives.
About the Role

The Senior Town Planner is also expected to implement and be involved in ongoing quality control processes and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all legislative approval requirements are met prior to commencement of work;
- Lead site selection processes including due diligence assessments, undertaking feasibility reports, site selection reports and site design visits;
- Preparation of Development Applications and Deployment Code Documentation;
- Review and Approve team member documentation;
- Consult and engage with the community to the client’s and Service Streams’ expectation;
- Manage stakeholder enquiries and complaints in collaboration with external stakeholders and community relations managers. Document all stakeholder submissions and relevant correspondence in Site Tracker;
- Have an in-depth knowledge of all active federal, state and local legislations and applicable industry codes as well as staying up to date with industry changes and expectations and be able to communicate this knowledge effectively;
- Organise and attend community, Council, and stakeholder meetings where necessary, this includes contentious site resolution meetings such as community information sessions;
- Manage the Planning Process across a program of sites;

Represent company and behave in a professional and ethical manner.
