We have an exciting opportunity available for a Medical Imaging Assistant to join the team at Subiaco.

SKG Radiology is proudly West Australian and proud partners of the West Coast Eagles, Perth Wildcats, Western Force, Perth Lynx, Perth Heat, West Coast Fever and a number of local football clubs. Established in 1981, SKG Radiology is recognised for its excellence in providing consistent patient care and a wide range of professional services from X-ray to Ultrasound, LOW-DOSE CT scans, MRI and Nuclear Medicine. Market-leading technology including EOS weight bearing x-ray and the latest 3T MRI scanners keeps SKG Radiology at the forefront of diagnostic imaging innovation.

As a Medical Imaging Assistant, you will be responsible for patient care prior to, during and after the procedure. The majority of your work will be clinical in nature with a small amount of administrative duties.

You will be expected to help out across all modalities including CT, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Densitometry, Ultrasound & MRI where required. Some of your many and varied duties will include:

- Confirming patient appointments & any pre-appointment instructions via telephone
- Retrieving outside imaging studies
- Preparing patients for procedures
- Assisting with the positioning of patients during procedures
- Assisting the technical staff member during clinical procedures, including cannulating patients
- Stock control
- Cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Administrative duties as required
- Qualification in a relevant field i.e. Bachelor of Science, Cert III Health Support Service, Health Service Assistance or similar
- A caring, compassionate nature
- Excellent customer service skills with a **Patients First. **focus
- A willingness to train in IV Cannulation
- The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Outstanding communication and time management skills
- Computer literacy
- The ability to work under pressure in an ever-changing environment

**This position is Full Time.**

**You will be required to participate in public holiday, shift and weekend rosters.
