Café Assistant

You'll be a great communicator with a focus on delivering a high standard of customer service and enjoy supporting the residents whilst providing a happy social environment. **About the role**:
This role will report directly to the Village Manager and seek direction from and work together with the Chef on duty.
- **Casual position (Regular Shifts).**:

- Provide a high level of Customer Service to residents serving morning tea, lunches, evening dinner meals and special occasion functions/events.
- Assist in the daily preparation of meals.
- Assist with the delivery of food & beverages.
- Assisting with kitchen hygiene practices.
- Washing up and general cleaning.

- **We currently have varying regular shifts available on 6 days per week basis (8:30am - 3:30pm), along with ad hoc afternoon shifts available on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday Evenings (4:00pm - 8:00pm) and additional events work.**:

- **You**would **be rostered for 1-3**shifts **per week depending**onavailability **and your preferences.**

**About you**:

- Experience in hospitality environment (highly regarded)
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Enjoy building relationships and chatting with the residents.
- Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you)
- Previous experience in the retirement or aged care industry would be preferred.
- Full on the job training will be provided.

Pay: $29.46 - $47.14 per hour
