We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Clinical Manager to lead and guide our clinical teams in our Muswellbrook Medicare Mental Health Centre and The Bridge (AOD support services).

Muswellbrook Medicare Mental Health Centre is a free mental health service for people ages 18+ experiencing distress. We provide a welcoming entry point for engagement, assessment, care planning, psycho-social supports as well as recovery-oriented interventions. This program is based in Muswellbrook with established outreach to Singleton and Scone.

The Bridge provides specialist AOD services to reduce the harm related to alcohol and other drug use. We aim to improve the health, wellbeing and social outcomes of young people, adults, pregnant people and parents with young children. The hub is based in Singleton and has established outreach to Muswellbrook and Maitland.

This role is your opportunity to:

- Embed mental health and AOD services in the Upper Hunter, improving mental health outcomes for local communities and reducing the harm of AOD dependency.
- Lead and guide a multidisciplinary team in providing evidence-based, best practice interventions.

- Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Manager with a desire to make a difference.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, i.e. psychology, mental health nursing or social work (with mental health accreditation) and relevant professional registration e.g. AHPRA, AASW
- At least 2 years demonstrated experience in supervising a multidisciplinary team providing mental health and or AOD services to people with mild to severe mental health concerns and people at risk of harm due to alcohol and other drugs use
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in delivering mental health and AOD services and ability to maintain governance policies and procedures
- Outstanding relationship, negotiation and conflict management skills
- Demonstrated experience in building stakeholder relationships.
