**About the role**

In this role, you will support the business with commercial finance support for strategic and commercial decision making.

You will lead and prepare financial and commercial analysis (including capital business cases) to drive improved performance across the retail business including day-to-day operations, commercial and strategic initiatives, portfolio review and business optimisation, new and existing products and services, and support other core strategic projects.

**Key responsibilities**
- Act as a trusted Finance business partner for the business
- Lead and prepare analysis for key business partners to assess key drivers of financial performance and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare financial analysis for a range of core strategic and commercial projects, including portfolio reviews, to support business decision making
- Engage with key stakeholders to communicate key findings and ensure understanding of financial implications
- Support talent management and team development of direct reports and other Retail Finance team members

**About you**

You will have strong attention to detail and analytical skills as well as the ability to communicate with key stakeholders. Your strong financial and commercial acumen will ensure you are able to influence positive business outcomes.

**Key skills and experience**
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or Finance related discipline
- Extensive experience in a finance, commercial finance or related position
- CA/CPA qualified (Highly desirable)
- Retail, and/or Industrials experience (Highly desirable)
