Tenure Track Postdoctoral Researcher (f/m/d, 100 %) Environmental Economics

As a successful applicant, you will contribute to the department's scientific research agenda as well as its economic policy advising projects. You will conduct scientific research with the goal of publication in high-level scientific journals and engage in economic policy advising projects with high visibility among economic decision makers and the general public.

The position is suitable for researchers who have completed or are about to complete their PhD in economics with a focus on environmental and energy economics, public economics, or related fields. Applicants should have a strong interest in studying the economics of climate change and conducting economic evaluations of climate and energy policies using a theory-based quantitative empirical approach that relies on numerical economic modeling and simulation techniques. English is the working language of the department; proficiency in German is not required but highly desirable.

We offer a full-time, tenure-track position for an initial period of two years, with the possibility of extension for another three years. The position comes without any teaching responsibilities and the salary is internationally competitive (based on the TV-L statutory salary scale and public sector benefits).
