**Overview of role**:
As a Test Manager, you will play a pivotal role in replacing our financial system and implementing a new commercial management system. Your expertise in testing strategies, defect management, and automation will ensure a seamless transition and optimal system performance.
Reporting to the Digital Project Manager, you will lead the testing team, develop test frameworks, and oversee execution while collaborating with key stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and frameworks to ensure high-quality system delivery.
Establish testing standards and best practices across various testing domains, including functional, non-functional, integration, performance, user acceptance, and security testing.
Lead the test team, allocate resources, and actively participate in test execution and defect management while overseeing the overall testing process.
Monitor testing progress, track key metrics, and report on risks, issues, and resolution plans.
Identify and implement test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
Collaborate with business process owners, project teams, and external vendors to ensure successful system integration and deployment.
Continuously assess and improve testing methodologies to align with industry best practices.
About You
You are an experienced Test Manager with a proven ability to lead and execute comprehensive testing programs. Your strengths include:
7+ years of experience in software testing, including system replacements, data migration, and system integration.
Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall testing methodologies.
Expertise in test automation, performance testing tools, and defect tracking systems.
Ability to develop detailed test plans, manage resources, and execute test cycles efficiently.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Familiarity with financial and commercial management systems is highly regarded.
A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
