**The Role**:Business and Industry Growth Officer

We are looking for a passionate, driven and community focused individual to join our Business and Industry Growth team.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Proactively partner with local business and industry to provide business support services and achieve growth.
- Inform, link, and support local businesses to successfully access local, State and Federal government programs and initiatives.
- Undertake research to support projects and responses to business investment enquiries.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive business support to coworkers, startups, working groups, and businesses throughout Playford.
- Act as a key representative for the City of Playford and the Stretton Centre at relevant industry meetings, events, conferences, and forums.

**What you’ll bring to the team**

We are looking for someone who has experience in working with small to medium enterprises, well developed research and administrative skills and a proven ability to work with a range of stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes.

In addition, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience working with local community, industry, government, and economic development stakeholders.
- Well-developed communication and negotiation skills to support you with building relationships with our stakeholders.
- A continuous improvement mindset.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, management, commerce or marketing.
