YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining gardens and houses as assigned schedule
- Being friendly and kind to clients as you provide maintenance services
- Working legally, safely and considerately
- Providing feedback if you find a client unwell or upset, or if the client is not home at the appointed time
- Working to a provided task list that may include gardening and/or maintenance items such as:

- Mowing lawns and nature strips
- Whipper snipping and edging paths
- Raking and leaf blowing
- Trimming shrubs, hedges and low branches
- Weeding, clearing garden beds and dead foliage
- Waste removal
- And assisting with other minor requests made by the client.

WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Comply with Workplace Health and safety system, and ensuring compliance with all site safety rules, policies and procedures, and relevant legislation
- Reporting WHS matters - Identify and report issues, incidents, near-misses, injuries and hazards in the workplace immediately
- Work Environment - appropriately wear and maintain personal protective equipment where required. Carry out work in a safe manner; adhere to all safety instructions, participate in risk assessments, incident investigations and safety training.

SELECTION CRITERIA / COMPETENCIES
- Valid Drivers License and access to a vehicle to enable you to attend clients' homes.

- Working With Children Check clearance
- NDIS employment clearances
- Level 2 First Aid Certificate
- Covid vaccination

**Job Types**: Casual, Subcontract, Freelance, Contract

Schedule:

- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Altona VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Gardening: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
