MAKTRANS - a very highly respected locally and family owned Bulk Fuel Transport Specialist that has been operating and servicing Qld and Northern New South Wales for over 20 years is wanting Full Time - PERMANENT MC and Dangerous Goods licenced Tanker Drivers with a minimum of 1 year experience (Fuel transport not compulsory but preferred) to join their growing team. The successful applicant will pride themselves on presentation, professionalism, efficiency, SAFETY and above all, a can-do ATTITUDE.

With a very modern fleet, and each vehicle only ever having 2 drivers to share it - you may as well call it 'your' truck. As part of this, you will actively contribute to MAKTRANS' family friendly and positive working environment adhering to loading and delivery times of bulk fuel whilst being accountable for the safety, cleanliness, efficiency and running of your vehicle.

MC licence essential and Dangerous Goods licence and an existing/current SLP (Safe Load Pass) for Terminals could be an advantage. The ability to manage a 25 mtr B-Double truck with either manual or automatic gearbox, Fatigue Management Certificate and if you are hard-working, honest and a reliable team player who follows instructions, communicates well, has a strong attention to detail and a Can-Do Attitude this could be the career for you.

Working in a rolling 5 day rolling roster you will perform all duties in line with MAKTRANS' Quality Assurance, safety & security procedures, being responsible for:

- Contributing efficiently and positively to the MAKTRANS team
- Loading bulk fuel ex Terminals and delivering to depots, service stations, farms and other end users.
- Maintaining necessary records and reporting of accurate timesheets/log book hours.
- Presenting to internal and external customers professionally and maintaining a clean, neat and tidy vehicle.
- Following all Maktrans' policies and procedures with an interest to maintain and strive to improve anywhere possible.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a pre-start medical with ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing as well as a local driving test in one of the fleets' modern Kenworth or Freightliner Trucks.
