About the role

We are seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver to join our team at HIESLER CONTRACTING based in Dalby, Queensland for an immediate start. We currently have projects at St George, Dirranbandi, Biloela and Hinchinbrook and are looking for a reliable MC Truck driver with float and water tanker experience. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles and safely transporting goods and materials across regional and urban areas. An immediate start for the right candidate is available.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operate MC class trucks, trailers and other heavy vehicles
  • Operate MC Trucks as water carts on our civil earthmoving projects
  • Float our impressive fleet of graders, rollers, accommodation, excavators and other machines
  • Transport a variety of goods and materials to and from various job sites
  • Perform pre-start checks and maintain vehicles in good working condition
  • Adhere to all road rules, transport regulations and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers and team members
  • Complete accurate delivery paperwork and log books
  • Support the wider operations team as required

What we're looking for

  • Current MC (Multi-Combination) driver's licence
  • Minimum 2 years experience operating MC class vehicles
  • Construction white card
  • Experience in water carts
  • Strong knowledge of road rules and transport regulations
  • Excellent driving skills and safe work practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication, honest and reliable
  • Reliable, punctual and committed to high standards of safety
