**About the Role**
As Product Owner Behavioural Health, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of HBF’s outsourced digital behavioural health solution, ensuring it aligns with our strategic goals, member value proposition, and business priorities. You’ll own the product roadmap, support cross-functional workstreams, and guide a dedicated squad within our Change Engine, working closely with our external partner to deliver a secure, integrated, and scalable solution.

You’ll be accountable for product strategy, configuration management, and operational readiness across the product lifecycle—from prototype to launch and beyond. This role requires strong vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to champion agile delivery and a robust risk and compliance culture.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

- Owning and evolving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to HBF’s OKRs and member needs.
- Leading the delivery squad and coordinating with the vendor’s program management team to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Overseeing configuration tools and the admin interface, ensuring HBF can securely manage business and benefit rules.
- Managing end-to-end product lifecycle phases, including prototype validation, MVP build, go-to-market, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinating cross-functional workstreams and preparing consolidated updates, risks, and recommendations for the fortnightly steering committee.
- Defining and managing the product backlog, ensuring sprint readiness, and tracking delivery against OKRs and KPIs.
- Driving operational excellence, system integration, and adherence to HBF’s risk, compliance, and governance standards.
- Fostering strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration across internal teams and external partners.

**About You**
You will have a strong background in product ownership or digital delivery, with experience working across complex, cross-functional initiatives - ideally within healthcare, technology, or a regulated industry. You're a confident collaborator who can align stakeholders, manage vendor relationships, and keep delivery on track in a fast-paced environment.

You bring a strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into product outcomes. You are comfortable with ambiguity, proactive in resolving blockers, and passionate about delivering real value to end users. Most importantly, you care about impact - ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and meaningful for members.

In addition, you will ideally have:

- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar digital delivery role, ideally in health, insurance, or regulated industries.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills, with the ability to influence and align across diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional delivery squads and manage end-to-end product lifecycle.
- Experience working with outsourced technology solutions and integrating third-party platforms.
- Confident in backlog management, sprint planning, and driving agile delivery.
- Strong understanding of risk, compliance, and operational governance in digital product environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights, issues, and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.
