**About the Role**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate person that enjoys providing support services to residents through short-term counselling, information, referral, advocacy, group work and community development activities.

Reporting to “Service Lead Family & Community Services”, this position is based in a community centre in Coolbellup, as well as outreaching into the community at various times.

**About you**

You’ll be focused on guiding and providing information, and also developing services and strategies that meet the local community needs.

Besides demonstrated experience, you’ll need to have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counselling or related area
- Be accredited or eligible for accreditation with a relevant Australian professional association (including ACA, PCFA or AASW)
- Experienced developing programs & services, highly developed report writing, data collection, communication and customer service skills.

**Salary**: Starting from Level 5 Step 1 - Step 4 ($93,945.24 - $99,660.24) City of Cockburn Industrial Agreement 2025 based on qualification and experience
