**The Role**

Reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with all senior leaders in the business, including the founder, the Management Accountant will have several key objectives;
- Business Partnering with key stakeholders to drive positive commercial outcomes for the business.
- Maintaining financial integrity of management reporting
- Driving continuous improvement in management reporting at all levels
- Creating robust and efficient tools for reporting and analysing financial information
- Analysing trends in the business and working with key stakeholders to formulate strategies to improve performance.
- Creating and implementing relevant Finance policies to meet company objectives.

Other Accountabilities will include;
- Preparing monthly and annual accounts to ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial data
- Preparing monthly management reports, including commentary
- Build and maintain reports in Power BI
- Assist with preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Ad-hoc financial analysis

You will be joining the business during a period of genuine transformation and as a result, there would be ongoing changes to parameters and the need to be adaptable will be essential.

**Your Profile**

With a minimum of three years of practical experience in a similar position, you will be a CA/CPA (or part-qualified) accountant with strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills. Key to your success will be an entrepreneurial approach to your role and a desire to innovate.

You will bring a growth mindset to the role and a passion for sustainability will help you to connect to the business and its purpose.

Experience of working in a small team environment and collaborating across disciplines would be advantageous but not essential.
