**About the Role**
Joining our well established central compliance function, your role will be focused on management of breach reporting and regulatory filing. Your key stakeholders will be within the Central Compliance team and this will allow you to gain experience in obligations register management, policy management lifecycle, compliance training, regulatory change and continuous improvement.
This role will require you to accurately and effectively triage, assess and report on incidents of low to moderate complexity to ensure the BOQ Group is meeting its breach reporting obligations. We’ll rely on your expertise to execute timely escalation of incidents of moderate to high complexity to the Partner - Breach Reporting and Regulatory Filings for guidance to manage regulatory risk.
You will provide peer support to analysts to accurately assess and report on incidents in line with breach reporting obligations whilst assisting the Partner in the development of and preparation of reporting insights and processes and procedures to ensure the group is meeting its breach reporting obligations.
**About you**
We are looking for an individual with sound knowledge of Banking and Finance laws and regulations. You'll have the ability to meet tight deadlines and be a problem solver, with a positive and proactive approach centred around achieving the Compliance function's Purpose and Ways of Working.
We would ideally like to appoint someone with a legal background although this not essential. Compliance knowledge within banking and financial services will be required to be successful for this role.
