Hairdressing Course Trainer

The Hairdressing Trainer is responsible for training and educating new and existing students on the latest techniques and trends in the industry. This role involves creating and delivering training programs that equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs to the highest standard.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and deliver training programs for students on a range of topics, including hair cutting, coloring, styling, and customer service;
- Develop training materials, including manuals, presentations, and videos, that are engaging, effective, and up-to-date with current trends and techniques;
- Deliver training in classroom sessions;
- Provide feedback and coaching to students to help them improve their skills and performance;
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure training programs are relevant and effective;
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of new students, assessing their skills and potential for development;
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of students and provide support and guidance as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Certified hairdresser with extensive experience in the industry;
- Proven experience in delivering training programs to adult learners;
- Strong knowledge of hairdressing techniques and trends;
- Must have TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Ability to motivate and engage learners;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other training software.
