**About the Opportunity**

We are on the lookout for superstar individuals, keen to start their career in Early Childhood Education.

Build foundational skills to set you up for a rewarding career assisting in shaping children and bringing out their greatest potential.

As a part of our traineeship program you would receive paid, hands on training while completing your qualification & paid study time allocated during working hours.

This is a full time opportunity available, based at Torquay Early Learning Centre.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Have experience with early age groups, programming and documentation
- Be a natural leader and love to share your knowledge
- Promote and advocate good health and treat every child’s health as a top priority

**Qualifications required**
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early - Childhood/Children’s services
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
- Employee Working with Children Check

**About the centre**

Torquay YMCA Early Learning Centre is co-located with Torquay Coast Primary School in Torquay, Victoria. Conveniently located next door, we offer a single pick-up and drop-off point for busy parents with children at both the primary school and our centre. We’re also less than a 10 minute drive from The Dunes Village shopping centre.
