- Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, you will guide the group’s strategic direction, mentor staff, and foster innovation in laboratory science and data-driven analysis. You will identify opportunities for growth, contribute to policy and program development, and represent the laboratory in scientific forums, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes that advance public health and microbiological research.

- You are a highly skilled and motivated scientist with strong leadership, analytical, and technical expertise in bioinformatics and diagnostic microbiology. You combine a strategic mindset with a passion for innovation, accuracy, and public health improvement, guiding teams to deliver scientific excellence and operational efficiency.

**Leadership and Collaboration**: Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop staff, fostering teamwork while managing complex workflows with professionalism and accountability.
- **Scientific and Technical Expertise**: Extensive experience in bioinformatics and pathogen genome analysis, with proficiency in HPC use, computer analysis, and quality assurance.
- **Communication and Professionalism**: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a strong commitment to customer service, confidentiality, and continuous improvement.
