We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team.

As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organised environment for our clients. Your work will enhance the quality of life for individuals and families in our care. If you take pride in creating a comfortable and hygienic living space, we encourage you to apply.

For this position, you will be required to be physically fit, hold an open Queensland Driver's license and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured.

You will require a Current National Police Check, Blue card, First Aid/ CPR certificate for this position.

Your roster will typically be rostered between the hours of 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday with flexibility around alternative shifts required. Weekends and evening shifts are also available.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Laundry and ironing as needed.
- Organize and maintain a tidy living space.
- Assist with meal preparation or light cooking.
- Run errands and perform other domestic tasks as required.
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to develop rapport and maintain effective relationships with clients, their carers/families and support networks.
- Demonstrated ability to work part of a team to continually promote and provide excellent care and services to clients & their families.
- Willingness to learn new process and skills and sound time management skills.
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the principles and practices of privacy, confidentiality and professional boundaries in relation to clients, volunteers and staff.
- Demonstrated knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and continuous quality improvement practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in domestic assistance or housekeeping desired.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients.
- Positive and proactive attitude.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
