**The Location**:

**The Facility**:
This is an acute care teaching hospital of approximately 600 beds, and a tertiary referral centre that provides a broad range of specialist services to the local and regional community. This is the largest public hospital in the region, supporting a population of almost 540,000, with strong links to community-based services that provide continuity of care for patients. The hospital is also the principal teaching hospital of the region with close links to the 17th best university in the world and number one in Australia.

**The Role**:
You will be responsible for managing the care of patients presenting to the Surgical Services Department in consultation with the responsible Registrars, Consultants, Visiting Specialists, Nurses and Allied Health professionals.

**The Requirements**:
You must hold General Registration with AHPRA.
