General Surgery Registrar

**The Position**
Your role will encompass ASU and trauma surgical services, as well as rotations involving after-hours and elective cases. Clinical duties include assessing and managing acute cases, providing in-patient care, diagnosing and managing patients in outpatient clinics, conducting surgical consultations, and leading clinical handover sessions in the morning and afternoon.
**The Facility**
Our client's health service operates across two facilities, the main of which is a 600 bed teaching hospital and major trauma centre for ACT and Southern NSW. The health service has recently joined with a second 250+ bed hospital, also providing acute and sub acute services to the ACT and SE NSW. The health service has strong ties with several universities, and the preferred applicant may also be considered for conjoint appointment with ANU.

**The Requirements**
- Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
- IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
- IMG's assessed by RACS and found to be either partially or substantially comparable.
- At least 12 months recent experience in General Surgery at a Registrar level minimum
