**The opportunity**
We recognise that more than ever the ability to manage data is critical to success. Reporting to the Head of Data Governance and Insights, in this newly created role you’ll have the opportunity to mature and embed our data governance framework across CareSuper, providing strategic and practical guidance on the implementation and adherence to standards, drive efficiency and mitigating risk to protect and optimise members outcomes.
Your experience will ensure our data governance framework balances opportunity and strategic enablement with compliance and data related risk. Working closely with key stakeholders you will foster a culture of accountability of data assets building appreciation for data governance.
It’s an exciting time as we enhance our practices, embrace data as a strategic asset and improve the breath and accuracy of enterprise-wide data.
**What you’ll bring**
The successful applicant will have:

- Highly experienced in data Governance and data management practices
- Sound knowledge of the industry, relevant acts and regulation and governance frameworks in an organisational context
- An influential skillset able to add to data and insight strategies
- Vendor management, partnering to monitor data governance
- Experience in Incident management and risk
- Your analytical mindset with an understanding of business intelligence, reporting, system management and integration
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report and documentation skills
- Organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously within a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and various stakeholders
- Understanding of superannuation, legislation and trends would be advantageous
