Production Supervisor

**The Opportunity**

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Production Supervisor to join our ever-growing team based in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs. As Production Supervisor you will be responsible for the day to day running of production line within Regent RV. You will report to the Production Manager and work hand in hand with other Production Supervisors.

**Key Duties / Responsibilities**
- **Supports the Production Manager through day-to-day coordination of operations, including labour, materials and equipment.**
- **Assists with the daily management of the team to meet the current and future requirements of Regent RV, in line with set KPI's and business objectives.**
- **Contributes to the implementation of training plans and provides support and guidance as required to enhance employee engagement and achieve operational objectives.**
- **Liaises with employees on a daily basis, communicating and ensuring compliance of set policies and procedures in order to support the achievement of production targets, and increase productivity.**
- **Collaborates with other areas of the business to ensure the production line delivers on its business plan and targets.**
- **Gathers and summarises information and data covering labour matters such as attendance, performance progress, and safety issues to ensure risks are identified and counter measured with Management and HR.**
- **Monitors tasks with respect to compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements, including health and safety, to minimise Regent RV’s risk exposure and liabilities.**
- **Leads and actively promotes improvement suggestions and safety activities.**
- **Actively assist Production manager in driving production efficiency & productivity so that production KPIs are achieved.**
- **Develop and encourage Team Members to identify areas for improvement.**
- **Occupational Health & Safety and preventative maintenance**
- **Effectively communicate production expectations to Team Members and hold staff accountable to KPI's**
- **Conducting regular visual checks to ensure a high-quality product at all stages.**

**What we are looking for**
- **Previous people management experience and skills including conflict resolution is crucial**
- **Good communication skills both written and oral.**

- **Experience in Manufacturing environment with strong shop floor leadership**
- **Development and implementation of standardised work**
- **Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts**
- **Outstanding problem-solving skills**

- **Organising, prioritising, and meeting deadlines is your forte**
- **Valid driver’s licence**
