Our federal Government client is seeking an
**Engagement Officer** to provide business management and administrative support including finance, procurement and CRM management.

**About the role**:

- Prove advice and administrative support to the team
- Lead and assist with procurement processes
- Manage the team's finance arrangements and invoicing
- Support the implementation of a CRM system
- Contribute to the coordination of communications and engagement activities

**Ideally you will have**:

- Demonstrated experience in government procurement, contract management and financial reporting
- Demonstrated experience providing administrative support in a government department
- Good interpersonal skills to form productive working relationships with government and non-government stakeholders
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in plain language
- Capability to effectively prioritise and manage competing tasks to meet deadlines

**Desirable**:

- Experience working in water programs and policy, or communications and engagement is desirable
