We are a chain with 90+ stores in India, expanding internationally and opening our first store in December.

As a **Store Manager** at **Market99 Pty Ltd**, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store in **Pacific**, **Werribee VIC 3030**. This is a full-time position where you will lead a team of passionate sales associates to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

**What you'll be doing**
- Manage and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Oversee the efficient and effective running of all store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and visual merchandising
- Facilitate the efficient staging, stocking and storage of merchandise by following defined company work processes
- Ensure that all merchandise is presented according to established practices; utilize merchandise fixtures properly including presentation, product pricing and signage
- Ensure the store maintains high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety
- Ensure the financial integrity of the store through strict cashier accountability, key control, and adherence to stated company security practices and cash control procedures
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of store personnel
- Oversee daily store operations, including rostering and timesheets, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to federal and state labor laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed
- Frequent handling of incoming merchandise, ability to perform product pricing, using box cutters, using two-wheel dollies, climbing (using ladder), unboxing and staging.

**What we're looking for**
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a retail store management role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in inventory management, retail store operations.
- Enthusiastic about delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive in-store experience
- Knowledge of retail industry trends, best practices, and compliance requirements
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages

Pay: $60,928.06 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Leadership: 2 years (preferred)
- Retail management: 3 years (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
