The new Light Rail will connect Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD and Camellia, spanning 12 kilometres and utilising state-of-the-art vehicles that delivers comfortable, user-friendly and high-performance services. By 2026, around 28,000 people will use Parramatta Light Rail every day and an estimated 130,000 people will be living within walking distance of light rail stops.

**The role**

**What you bring**
- Whilst this role is focused on High Voltage maintenance, we are open to your industry experience. You will need to have an Electrical Licence with a minimum of 5 years experience. A certificate III and previous experience in either Rail Traction or Overhead Wiring (OHW) is desirable but not essential. However, we are also looking for Electricians from both the commercial and industrial sectors who are willing to be developed through on the job learning and supported by the business, to obtain a high voltage isolation & access licence. Regardless of industry background, your high-level problem-solving skills will allow you to manage difficult situations including responding to emergencies and restoring assets after incidents. This will be supported by the ability carry out asset inspections and undertake fault finding and ensure asset reliability.
