We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented Import/Export Shipping Coordinator to join our team, based in our Belrose office on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. This position is responsible for coordinating all international shipping and air freight movements for import & export for the ANZ region.

You will be ensuring information regarding shipment arrival and dispatch dates is current in the ERP system, ensuring key stakeholder expectations are being met, whilst also demonstrating a good technical knowledge and minimizing transportation costs.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary contact for freight forwarders and customs agents, including approval of charge rates- Manage the coordination of required shipping documentation including customs clearance, invoices, certificates of origin- Prepare the product information for customs clearance process- Liaise with overseas suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure effective on time delivery of orders- Track the progress of shipments to their destinations and troubleshoot any problems with stakeholders- Monitor and update inbound freight movements- Authorise and approve freight invoices ensuring correct duties are applied- Ensure correct tariff codes are being applied to imported products

About You - What We Are Looking For- Previous experience in a similar position- Good understanding of import/export regulations and procedures- Experience in international imports and export documentation- Freight forwarding/international transportation expertise- Degree in business/supply chain management highly advantageous- Strong communication skills, both oral and written- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with problem-solving skills- Well-developed computer skills in MS Office such as Excel and Word- Experience in working with ERP systems
