**The role**

Reporting to the Supply Manager, GET & Buckets, we currently have an exciting opportunity available for an Inventory Specialist to join our busy team based in Kenwick, WA. As the Inventory Specialist you will support the procurement and distribution of parts, as well as be responsible for regular communication, purchasing and logistics with key suppliers Globally and for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

This role is a full-time requirement, however Sandvik recognises the desire for flexible working options. Flexible employment arrangements include condensed working weeks, working from home, flexible start/finish times, etc.

**Areas of responsibility**
- Responsible for reviewing Global stocking levels and purchasing all parts required (GET & Buckets) from key suppliers to ensure on-time supply at lowest possible cost
- Set up of new parts in the ERP system
- Liaise with Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, and other functions as required
- Liaise with Warehouse and Suppliers as required
- Analyse and report on inventory KPIs
- Maintaining Inventory process maps and work instructions in consultation with Process Specialist
- Support logistics tasks by interacting key providers and other entities

**Your profile**
- Business or engineering degree desirable
- Minimum three years’ experience in a similar position in a Supply Chain function
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing and reporting on inventory KPI’s
- Demonstrated experience in inventory process mapping and work instructions
- ERP systems knowledge desirable
- Advanced Microsoft suite skills
