**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Mulesoft Platform Lead the Integration Consultant will join the Integration team. The Integration Consultant will be responsible for providing technical skills for the integration of the Mulesoft solution into existing, retained, and transitioning business systems. The role requires someone with a deep understanding of integrations particularly within Mulesoft and the various business systems it must integrate with, as well as a keen ability to identify and resolve technical issues as they arise.

**A day in the life of an Integration Consultant - Mulesoft**
- Development, bug fixing, problem solving and addressing incidents for the integration platform
- Drive automation and optimisation of Mulesoft products and its solutions
- Provide continuous improvements and assessment of the solutions and its impacts on the platform
- Work on building and maintaining Mulesoft Enterprise platform environments
- Adhere and confirm to the governance frameworks as part of day to day activities
- Work closely with Business Analysts/Functional Consultants to translate complex business specs into technical design for development and delivery.
- Facilitate and participate in workshops to design the above and implement the POCs and trial pilot roll outs.
- Provide consultation to the partner consulting teams with a dotted reporting line to the role for implementation of Integration for the program.
- Ensure the alignment of partnering consulting team’s implementation to design and best practices through peer review.
- Deliver Architecture artefacts and review the technical integration solutions and associated documentation.

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Qualifications, Experience & technical requirements_
- 7+ years of IT experience with 5+ years specialising in Integration design and development.
- Solid understanding of integration principles, best practices and patterns.
- Extensive experience operating as a Mulesoft Integration Consultant - with at least 3 full project life cycle implementation in Mulesoft
- Experience in design, build and troubleshooting of integrations using Mulesoft Middleware Technology with all the infra, security and network considerations
- Extensive experience and knowledge for Mulesoft API approach, using Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Platform (Design Centre, Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange etc)
- Extensive experience of working in various connectors like with SAP specific integration technologies, Salepoint, SNow,DB, Filesystems, API driven designs, SaaS platforms.
- Experience working with various queuing systems
- Experience with working hands on with design, development and delivering complex integration using Mulesoft
- Working with Mulesoft On-Prem and CloudHub with CI/CD experience
- The following would also be highly desirable_
- Experience with AWS/GCP is an added advantage.
- Experience in Enhancement Framework, Object Oriented programming languages
- Knowledge of native cloud
- GCP and/or Azure toolsets.
- Other competencies and acheievements_
- Previous experience setting up the Mulesoft Platform toolset and well versed with all the infra, security and network considerations.
