**About the role**

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term position, reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager. Working flexibly from our Dandenong South office and from home, you’ll be part of a friendly and productive team.

The role of the Accounts Receivable Officer is to contribute to the objectives of the Accounts Receivable Department team to ensure efficiencies and superior service across the division.

**Day to day, you will**:

- Manage a dedicated area of customer and branch accounts
- Assist branch staff and customers with account enquiries
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Undertaking financial transactions associated with account payments
- Complete finance reports (where applicable)

**Ideally, you will have**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills supported by an engaging and professional manner
- Ability to handle a high-volume transactional environment
- Intermediate MS Office Suite proficiency with emphasis on Excel
- Great attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, results driven and strong problem-solving skills
- A passion for continuous improvement in process and efficiency, display curiosity and the ability to challenge current processes and procedures
- Commitment to learning and professional development
- Experience preferred but not essential in an Accounts Receivable role or similar.
