**About the Role**
The Team Leader Radiation Science plans and manages the work of the Radiation Science team and works in partnership with industry, across government and with the community to ensure that radiation exposures are managed in accordance with the _Radiation Protection and Control Act 2021_, its Regulations, and appropriate international and national radiation protection Standards, Codes of Practice, and Guidelines to protect workers, the public, and the environment from the harmful effects of radiation associated with the medical, scientific and industrial uses of radiation, and solaria.

**About Us**
The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is South Australia’s independent environment protection regulator. The organisation works to protect, restore and improve the environment through the risk-based regulation of pollution, waste, noise and radiation. The EPA works closely with industry, the community and government to protect the unique natural environment while supporting economic growth and improving wellbeing. The EPA is responsible for the administration of the _Environment Protection Act 1993_ (EP Act) and the _Radiation Protection and Control Act 2021_ (RPC Act) and also exercises responsibilities under other South Australian planning and environmental legislation.

**Essential Qualification**
A degree in science, medical radiation, or engineering.

**Remuneration**
PO4 ($110,696 to $120,470) + 11.5% superannuation paid to your choice of super fund.
