Morningside, Australia PPG Industries Full time

As a permanent full time retail assistant, you will work closely with our store manager and partner with new and existing customers to help them find the best solutions possible. You will love building on excellent relationships in order to meet the demands of our growing customer based in Newstead

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment that sees you change direction frequently throughout the day
- Assist the store to continue to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Provide outstanding customer service as well as establishing relationships with our strong customer base
- Operate our Point of sales system and accurately prepare sales invoices
- Merchandise and replenish stock in a timely manner ensuring it is presented well

**Qualifications**:

- Some previous retail or trade experience along with a desire to provide excellent customer service
- You will have a strong interest to learn new skills as well as an invested interest to build your knowledge and expertise on our products
- A keen eye for detail, taking pride in the presentation of a store
- You will be comfortable with manual handling as part of your normal day. For example - lifting heavy paint tins (up to 32kgs with equipment), pushing and pulling trolleys, standing for long periods, kneeling etc
- You will also be an outstanding teammate who has the ability to cope under pressure at times
- You will hold a current drivers' license to assist with customer deliveries
- You will have flexibility to work on a roster between the hours of 6:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays
