UGL is currently looking for an experienced Civil Design Engineer to become a key member of the Power Utilities teams based in Sydney. You will be responsible for providing detailed designs, developing specifications and interface with management on design issues

**About the Role**
- Responsible for Digital Engineering standards and development, implementation, and management.
- Utilize advanced digital engineering tools and software to model civil and structural engineering projects within the utilities sector.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop detailed 3D models for utility infrastructure projects, including major energy, transmission lines, substations, power stations, solar/BSS, pipelines, water treatment facilities, dams, and more.
- Lead the development and implementation of BIM (Building Information Modeling) strategies and workflows to streamline project delivery and improve efficiency.
- Generate accurate digital representations of existing infrastructure and proposed designs, incorporating data from surveys, CAD drawings, and other sources.

**About You**
- An in-depth working knowledge of current DIGITAL ENGINNER practices & ability to assist project teams in DIGITAL ENGINEER project setup.
- Previous experience working within a complex Utilities or major infrastructure projects.
- Well-developed skills to write technical documentation/reports.
- Programming language C++, Python or similar
- Revit / Navisworks / Revizto / AutoCAD - Expert level
- Dynamo and Automation experience using other softwares
