There is opportunity within our operations, for the right person to move into the Butcher / Smallgoods Maker role.

Your day to day duties and responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with the Operations team including Production and Cookhouse teams.

Understanding and adhering to the requirements of the company’s HACCP & ISO Systems.

Debone and prepare meat by trimming, portioning and preparing according to recipes, ensuring the satisfactory quality of the product.

Ability to safely operate machinery such as tumblers, mincing machines, cooking kettles, vacuum packing equipment, snap freezers and other machinery as required to be operated in this role from time to time.

Assist the Operations manager with feedback on designing and creating as well as testing of new products.

Assist the Operations manager in scheduling production of products and resources as well as contribute information relating to costings of new products

Accountable to the for the quality of product and safety of the immediate workplace.

Work closely with the Operations team to ensure deadlines are met and work delivered is of a quality standard.

Cert III in Food Processing and two Years Experience in the field. 3+ years skilled experience may substitute for formal qualifications.

Experience with short shelf-life product or poultry preferred.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
