**We are seeking a Permeant Partime time 2 days a week ECT/ Or working towards, for a 39 long day care centre in Sefton which caters for children 1-6 years old.**

The center is a small center, committed to providing a happy, safe, fun, and educational environment for children to learn and grow.

*The Childcare Centre has been operating for 20 years since 1998

*The service operates 52 weeks a year and only closed on public holidays
- _Communication with children and upholding the centre leadership team to drive quality._
- _Improvement within the service working alongside management._
- _Assisting with all aspects of the daily management of the service in accordance with all relevant legislation, sector guidelines and policies._
- _Working to create a high
- quality culture of rick learning environment for the children, families, educators, and community._
- _Being part of the center leadership team to drive quality improvement within the service._
- _Ensure all policies and regulatory requirement are embedded within the service._
- _Coordinate and work as part of the childcare team to supervise and support all children whilst undertaking activities, in breaks and whenever on the premises. This includes acting as a resource for more trainee staff._
- _Actively interact with children at the service and develop strong relationship ensuring that a warm and positive approach is taken to their development, and that their needs are met and accommodated, always respected._
- **Essential criteria**
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (overseas qualification are accepted if they have been approved by ACECQA).
- Sound understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- Proven ability to inspire, lead and support a team of successful educator’s
- Efficient organization skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

**Job Type**: Part-time

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chester Hill NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
