**Childcare Educator - Diploma Qualified - Part Time**

Smart Cookies Early Learning Centre is a 30 place centre located in Sefton and is looking for a motivated enthusiastic Childcare Educator to join our existing team of childcare Educators. You will work alongside experienced educators and gain exposure to children of all age groups.

**You will**:

- Create a stimulating and positive learning environment.
- Provide physical care, assisting children with daily routines such as sleeping & meal times.
- Conduct observations and evaluations of children’s development.
- Maintain up to date records for each child within the room.
- Supervise children with their play activities.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, children & their families.
- Implement and maintain the elements of the NQS and EYLF.
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- A current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate.
- Child Protection.
- A current Working with Children Check.
- Good written & verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work as part of cohesive and supportive team environment.
- The ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Previous Childcare Experience.
- The ability to lead the room in the absence of the Room Leader.

**Salary**: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
