**Role Description**

The Provisional Fellow position at Bendigo Health provides the successful applicant with the opportunity to develop broad skills for their fellow year or gain more clinical experience as part of registrar training time. The range of clinical exposure combined with opportunities to develop leadership skills, collaboration and mentorship from collegial departments and strong teaching, support the provisional fellow to develop the necessary management and communication skills to complement clinical competence.

The position offers comprehensive exposure to all aspects of clinical anaesthesia except cardiac and neurosurgery.

The position has scope for special interests to allow the trainee to pursue their own areas of interest. Areas of special interest can include regional anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, environment and sustainability, medical education, and simulation.

**The Team**

The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
