The Purpose of the Test Coordinator is to ensure that an updated decisioning system, designed to meet critical compliance changes in the credit risk area meets the newly mandated requirements. The Test Coordinator will work closely with Project Leads, Business Stakeholders, and the IT Team to understand business requirements, coordinate testing activities, and communicate test results.
On the onset of a project, the Test Coordinator, in collaboration with other stakeholders, devise the test objectives, organisational test policies, test strategies and test plans.
The Test Coordinator will estimate the testing to be completed and will recognize when test automation is appropriate and, if it is, he/she will plan the effort, select the tools, and ensure training of the team. He/she may consult with other groups - e.g. stakeholders - to assist them with their testing.
The Test Coordinator will lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the test cases, test procedures and test suites. He/she will ensure proper configuration management of the testware produced and traceability of the tests to the test basis. As test execution comes near, he/she will make sure the test environment is available before test execution and will manage the test environment during test execution.
The Test Coordinator will schedule the tests for execution and will monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions.
During test execution, the Test Coordinator will write summary reports on test status.

**Day to day**
- Responsible for creating Test artifacts including Test Plans, Testing Tracking, Test Execution Status Reports, and Defect Reports.
- Works closely with Project Leads, Business Stakeholders, and the IT Team to understand business requirements, coordinate testing activities, and communicate test results.
- Reviews Business Requirements Documents and Functional & Technical Specifications towards determining testing scope and corresponding artifacts.
- Coordinates with Business and Technical stakeholders the input and validation of the testing deliverables.
- Responsible for the coordination, execution, and documentation of test scripts.
- Ensures that the testing scripts are updated for test execution and defects
- Responsible for test materials, data preparation, and script execution schedules.
- Ensures testing is on schedule and escalates issues or concerns.
- Collect and share testing metrics with project teams and relevant stakeholders.
- Review and validate test components of Project Plans and related estimates.
- Report on progress and status for all test-related activities.
- Conduct various forms of Testing such as Integration Testing, System Testing, Functional Testing and Full Regression Testing.
- Coordinate and participate in the Defect Management process in conjunction with the Internal Support Team and the Business.
- Assist in Release Management and Change Management Processes.
- Provide guidance/training to the business regarding the purpose and scope of testing and highlight the difference between testing of specific items and regression testing i.e. provide test expertise and coaching to the business; assist the business with executing the test plan
- Identify and document items that are to be included in regression testing for future projects/elevations.
- Perform other duties as deemed relevant, based upon experience

**Your Profile**
- SDLC experience essential
- Experience with and understanding of tooling and digital ways of working
- Experience of integration testing and user acceptance testing of software
- At least Five years of test coordinator experience
- Experience coordinating initiatives, adhering to deadlines and ensuring deliverables
- Knowledge of defect life cycle, defect management tools and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
