**The opportunity**

Our Finance professionals play a key role in guiding critical business decisions and cutting-edge solutions for the world's leading aerospace company. We are seeking a **Payroll Officer** to support our centralised payroll function and perform end to end payroll processing using both Aurion and Peoplesoft.

This role is based in Brisbane.

As a **Payroll Officer** you will:

- Running end to end payroll, for 3,500+ across 6 entities
- Action payroll requests promptly and accurately such as new hires, exits and changes
- Run fortnightly payroll process, variance checks and reconciliation of EFT
- Administer setup of new superannuation funds and reconcile payments
- Reconcile payroll reports fortnightly after each payroll run and monthly
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate, streamline and simplify payroll processes

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Experience in payroll desirable, but not essential
- Experience in processing end to end pay, desirable
- Desirable Experience in Aurion or PeopleSoft.
- Experience with EOFY payroll process, desirable
- Strong attention to detail and Problem solving, strive for results, process improvement
- Strong excel skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
