**Start Date**: 21 July 2025
**Contract Term**: Ongoing (at least a couple of years)
**Pay**: $40 $45/hr (based on experience) plus kms and petrol to be reimbursed

**Days and Hours**:
**Monday to Friday**
- **Live in option also a possibility if this works out better for the nanny
**Children**:
11-year-old girl
9-year-old boy has additional needs
A family in Wembley, WA are looking for a **reliable, flexible, and kind-hearted nanny** with **experience in working with children with special needs**, to support the family in the mornings and afternoons. Your role will blend caregiving with helpful household duties to ensure our home runs smoothly during the week. This is a long-term role ideal for someone who is calm, consistent, and genuinely interested in getting to know and support children as individuals.
**Typical Day and Responsibilities**:
Morning routine help dressing, organising, breakfast prep
Driving youngest to/from school
Light household help laundry, cooking, groceries, post office errands, unpacking dishwasher
Preparing family meals
After school care supervising homework, local park visits, light dinner prep
**Ideal Nanny will be**:
Experienced with children with special needs (essential)
Gentle, patient and genuinely interested in child development
Highly organised and dependable
Able to confidently manage household errands and simple tasks independently**
The family s expectations from their nanny are**:

- 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Experienced with children with special needs
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current Working With Children s Check
- Display strong communication skills and speaks English
- Non smoking
- Full drivers license, clean driving record and own car (Kms and petrol to be reimbursed)
