**Who we’re looking for**:
The role of the Settlements Officer is to:
- Manage orders from Finance Application through to Post Delivery
- Liaise with Customers, Dealerships and Third Parties to ensure settlement is processed and vehicle is delivered in a timely manner
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, financier guidelines & regulatory requirements
- Check, prepare and submit requests to financiers for settlement
- Ensure accurate data input & maintenance in fleet management and accounting systems
- Collaborate and maintain a cohesive working relationship with financiers & internal stakeholders
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Ensure all settlements are compliant with credit policies, approval conditions & guidelines
- Ensure all legal documents are executed correctly & compliant with set policies & guidelines
- Ensure all settlements are prepared & submitted within set timeline
- Ensure the customer is kept up to date with the process and any delays
- Ensure all stakeholders are followed up in a timely manner to ensure a prompt settlement & delivery
- Proper management of legal document archiving and storing process
- Manage and prioritise settlement workflows within set timeframe
- Contribute to process improvement
- Contribute to external audit process when required
**Requirements**:
- Experience in Leasing Finance, in either Automotive Fleet Leasing or Asset Finance in a Financial institution
- Familiar with leasing products such as Novated Lease, Operating Lease, and CHP contracts
- Have exceptional attention to detail and numeracy skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks to meet targets
- Ability to work self-sufficiently & problem solve
- Confident telephone manner and comfortable speaking to Customers, Dealers and Third Parties
- Intermediate to advanced capability of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
