**About this Opportunity**

We are seeking a motivated Inventory Controller to join our Maintenance team in Rowville. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the management of inbound parts and material. Working closely with stakeholders to ensure that ordered stock is available when required to meet site demands with mínimal financial loss to the business.

You will need a proactive and positive attitude, be able to build collaborative relationships with your team and stakeholders, both internal and external to the business. You will be have excellent attention to detail, be able to think on your feet, and troubleshoot issues autonomously.

Key accountabilities include, but not limited to:

- Ensure the completion of daily data entry for receipting of parts and materials, stock-takes, and order confirmations.
- Ensure parts are ordered according to the specification required and delivered in time to meet maintenance schedules.
- Manage inventory control, stock balances and reconciliation on maintenance parts and materials in timely intervals in SAP.
- Ensure parts are booked out correctly via SAP.
- Create purchase requisitions for all spare parts, services and contractor work, while obtaining best possible pricing.
- Maintain and update critical parts listing and advise manager of potential stock shortage risks.
- Report anomalies in stock or other problems that could disrupt the operation.
- Perform monthly cycle counts and end of year inventory checks / stock reconciliation.
- Ensure standard reporting systems and records are maintained as required and completed by the end of the shift.
- Monitor transactions for inbound stock to ensure mínimal financial loss to the business.

**About You**
- Sound principles on Inventory Management best practice in a FMCG environment.
- Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable but not essential.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Suite of products.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Sense of urgency with the ability to prioritise and respond quickly to meet production requirements.
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
