**The Location**

The iconic Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and sparkling blue lagoons, comprising 295 guest rooms and suites, 9 meeting venues, four restaurants and bars in an absolute beachfront environment.

**Department**

To assist us in maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer service, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Officer to join our Engineering Team.

If you have experience in general maintenance we would love to hear from you. As our Maintenance Officer you will be responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of the resort, guest rooms and public areas.

**Role**

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for general repair and maintenance tasks throughout the resort.

**Daily tasks**
- General maintenance to upkeep the resort.
- Responding to guest requests.
- Preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Repairs to building and equipment.

**Preferences**
- Previous experience in general maintenance, property maintenance, handy man or repairperson in hotels, hospitals, facilities, residential or commercial.
- Availability to work flexible shifts and weekends.
