The ANU School of Engineering is seeking a Research Fellow to conduct innovative research across the areas of communication theory, wireless systems and networks, and communication/wireless security.

**Position overview**

This position is a fixed-term research-intensive appointment for a period of up to 2 years funded through the Australian Research Council’s Discovery Projects funding scheme under the project “Physical Layer Security for Wireless Machine-Type Communications”.

The purpose of this appointment is to:

- Conduct innovative research on physical layer security and more broadly across the areas of communication theory, wireless systems and networks, and communication/wireless security;
- Strengthen the School’s national and international reputation of research excellence in wireless communications and security, and enhance research collaboration;
- Generate high-quality research publications and contribute to the objectives of the externally funded project;
- Contribute to the School’s academic activities and intellectual life, including supervision and mentoring for students.
