**About Your Role**

A great opportunity has become available for a **Production Assembly Operator **to join our team based in our Rydalmere site. In this role, you will be responsible for performing manufacturing tasks in line with the process instructions whilst providing direction for the project team and assistance to the Acoustics production engineer. You will work closely with and collaborate with the teams, ensuring the production and assembly of Acoustics Transducer and Array products are performed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Report to team leader and activity manager on workflow and task allocations
- Work with production engineer on process improvements
- Ceramics silvering and cleaning & wire preparation (cutting; stripping; tinning)
- Pre-tinning and soldering operations
- Electromechanical assembly operations
- Housekeeping: cleaning of equipment and related work area after operations

**Experience, Skills & Qualifications**:

- Self-motivated and can work to deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
- Basic understanding of production task workflow & process operations
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate wire preparation and soldering
- Experience in production equipment/machine operation skills
