**As an**Administrative and Dispensing Officer you will**:

- Deliver effective and efficient optometry practice administrative and optical dispensing services to significant internal/external stakeholders
- Assist patients with selection, fitting and delivery of prescription frames and lenses, order and reconcile spectacle and contact lens jobs, keep optometric records and and organise the purchasing of clinical consumables
- Monitor and coordinate service needs of local optometric and IT equipment
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with equipment suppliers, software suppliers, internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation/administration of monthly reports under the direction of Clinic Director

**To be successful, you’ll have**:

- Completion or completing Cert IV in Optical Dispensing and/or an equivalent number of years of work experience in retail optical dispensing environment.
- Experience with practice management software (Optomate preferred)
- Experience with local IT systems, troubleshooting where required
- Knowledge of practical optical dispensing in a retail setting including ordering jobs, quality control, reconciliation of jobs to software program, pricing updates, warranty forms
