Located in Mt Gravatt, Apex Training Institute is a registered training organisation (RTO).

We blend face to face, online and correspondence learning methods to give our Trainees nationally recognised certificates.

**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**:
To provide high-quality training, assessment and support services to students pursuing the CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalent) including delivering online classes, conducting face to face workshops, visiting workplaces to provide training, assessment and support services to students and the workplace.

**REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**
- CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To deliver training, assessment and support to students completing the CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability, or equivalent. These services will be delivered face to face, online and via other avenues as required.
- Facilitate student learning and accommodate different learning styles.
- Visit workplaces in order to train, assess and support students as required.
- Assess students, complete and submit documents associated with student assessment via approved channels including Moodle, Google Drive.
- Perform gap analysis of students’ knowledge and skills during their placement and fill these gaps as required.
- Engage students and industry in a professional and compelling manner at all times
- Counsel students on their academic progress.
- Report outcome of test results to individual students within agreed timeframes.
- Validate and moderate training and assessment resources.
- Maintain accurate records as required and provide accurate and timely reporting at all times in our Learning Management System, Student Management System and Customer Relationship Management System.
- Meet training and assessment KPIs set by management and government agencies.
- Put strategies in place with management and other staff to improve the quality of training and assessment at Apex.
- Maintain an image of friendliness and professionalism towards students at all times.
