**About the role**
- Our team is looking for a lead product designer in the financial services space. Collaborate with other product designers, engineers, product managers and researchers to craft world class, intuitive and engaging experiences for a wide range of MYOB's Financial Services offerings. If you enjoy leading impactful teams while still being on the tools, come join us.

**Please note: This role is an 18-month fixed term contract.
**What we look for in designers**

**Our designers cover a lot of ground. They**:

- Want to understand our customers and are happy to use different research techniques to do it
- Get their team involved to make sense of the findings
- Fesign in various levels of fidelity
- Seek critique and feedback to help improve themselves and their designs
- Vollaborate and communicate well with other team members in product management and engineering
- Test ideas, concepts, and designs early and often
- consider our customer's full journey from start to finish

**The skills you'll need**
- Experience within financial services advantageous a bonus
- Passion for problem solving and ability to run design research and discovery techniques through to design validation & usability testing
- Experience with end-to-end workflows and a love for UX, with a high competence in working with appropriate design tools
- Experience working in an agile environment in cross functional teams
- Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills working within (and across) cross-functional teams
