Approximately 12 - 15 hours per week (negotiable) spread over 2 - 3 days - Starting at 10.45am each day.

Helena River Steiner School is a small, city-based co-educational and non-denominational school in Hazelmere, Western Australia.

We offer a Steiner education from Kindergarten to Class 7, based on the nationally recognised Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework (ASCF), and grounded in the educational insights of Rudolf Steiner. We aim to create a school where the Core Principles for Australian Steiner Schools permeate its pedagogical, physical and social fabric through the thinking, feeling and willing actions of its employees and community members.

For this position we seek a dynamic and dedicated Extra Lesson teacher. The successful applicant would ideally have undertaken specialist Extra Lesson training and have experience working in a Steiner school environment.

The successful applicant would be required to work with the class teachers and Primary School Coordinator and join our Learning Support team to provide for students with diverse learning needs. They will also liaise with parents as part of this role.

**Applicants must have**:

- a current Western Australian teacher registration (or be eligible for TRBWA registration)
- a current Working With Children Check
