Are you passionate about teaching practical skills that nurture creativity and holistic development? Samford Valley Steiner School (SVSS) is seeking a Soft and Hard Craft Teacher to inspire students in Class 6 and 7 through hands-on projects in both soft and hard crafts. This part-time role (two days per week) starts in Term 1, 2025.

**About the Role**
As a Craft Specialist, you will:

- Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate craft lessons in soft crafts (sewing, knitting, felting) and hard crafts (woodworking, whittling, toy-making) that foster creativity and life skills.
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth through hands-on, imaginative projects.
- Manage classroom resources, ensure materials are well-maintained, and oversee the craft budget responsibly.
- Provide feedback on student progress and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, festivals, and community-building activities.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Experience teaching soft and hard crafts, ideally in a Steiner school setting.
- Creativity and craftsmanship in traditional crafts with a passion for inspiring students.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a harmonious, inclusive environment.
- Experience managing resources and budgets for craft materials.
- Queensland College of Teacher Registration (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
